Hi — I'm Emiliano. I build and maintain CalcBlueprint, a set of free construction calculators for contractors, estimators, and serious DIYers.

Why I built this

Construction calculators online are frustrating. You search for a concrete calculator and get one of three things: a page buried under five ad blocks that doesn't load on mobile, a tool that demands your email before showing a number, or a vague range that doesn't help you order materials.

I built CalcBlueprint to be the calculator I actually wanted: clean, fast, no signup, real numbers. Enter your dimensions, get cubic yards, bag counts, linear feet, and total project cost — nothing else.

How the calculators work

Every calculator uses published industry formulas from the American Concrete Institute (ACI), the National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA), the International Code Council (ICC), and manufacturer specifications. No proprietary formulas, no black boxes. See the How It Works page for the full methodology.

Our results are estimates for planning, not engineering specifications. Always verify critical calculations with a licensed contractor or engineer before ordering materials or starting work.

What I care about

How the site is funded

CalcBlueprint is free to use. When you click through to a materials supplier through one of our partner links, we may earn a small commission — at no extra cost to you. This never affects the calculator results or the formulas we use.

If the site grows, we may add lightweight ads to cover hosting. Any future changes to funding will be posted on this page.

Corrections: If a calculator gives a wrong result, tell me. Include the calculator URL, your inputs, and what you expected.

Tool suggestions: If there's a construction calculation you need that isn't here, let me know.

Transparency

CalcBlueprint is operated by one person. There is no company behind it, no investors, and no data monetization. If anything changes, this page will say so.
